As much as I appreciate the undeniably Polish black metal parts of Hauntologist, their talent shines the brightest in the silent, atmospheric songs of Hollow: its title track and Gardermoen! Darkside's drumming will always steal the show on any record for me, but The Fall has become a seriously impressive vocalist. I've read nothing but praise for this album yet, and that's absolutely justified. A perfect choice for a lone stroll through the cold and unforgiving city streets. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder
